CONCLUSION
Morris Ave Auto Sales (MAAS) is a used car dealership located in Elizabeth, NJ. Hesham Shahine the owner of the business bought the company in 2009. He took on the challenge of renovating the lot and opening it up for business. The cars offered are used cars ranging from $3,000 - $20,000. MAAS purchases their vehicles from private auctions all over the tri-state area then re-sells them to the public for a profit. MAAS has a wide range of vehicles for customers to select from whether it's a car, truck, SUV, or motorcycle.
The purpose of this project was to look at how a business uses Information Systems to run efficiently. We chose Morris Ave Auto Sales as the business for our project. After conducting our research and analysis of Morris Ave Auto Sales we found a number of positives and negatives in the business. Our group came to the conclusion that they must begin using a customer relationship management (CRM) system. If the business implements a CRM system the business would run more efficiently. The business could use the system to reach out to new customers and improve relationships with existing customers. The CRM system we recommend MAAS use for the business would be Salesforce.com. Salesforce would provide a cloud based CRM system for MAAS to use for a relatively low price.
